A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not retain a separate copy of that query on our servers. If you contact us, we receive the details you place in the message and use them to answer you.

Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the site and learn which pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.

Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Nye County and Nevada portals, library collections, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination’s privacy policy, not ours. The same is true of sponsored search results supplied by a separate company.

Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
